Seoul is one of the largest cities in the world, housing almost 10 million people. The large city is home to 25 districts that are all unique and different. Each neighborhood has its own history, specialty, and boasts amazing attractions. Some neighborhoods have the best bar scene, others have amazing clothing and makeup stores. Each area of the city has something for anyone.
Hongdae

Hongdae is a neighborhood situated with four different universities close by, and offers many different bars, clubs, cafes and boutiques. The closeness of the universities creates a fun and exciting vibe, where it is very easy to meet new friends. During the day is the best time to visit all of the many boutiques and then chill out at any of the many adorable cafes. In the evening in Hongdae is where the excitement comes, with clubs located at every corner lighting up the area.
Myeongdong

Myeongdong is one of the primary shopping districts in the city, for travelers and even locals. As many as one million visitors will go through the area a day. With the organized and nice streets, it is very easy to get around, despite the large number of visitors. Many shops offer Korean and American brands, which is optimal for the masses. Along with the numerous clothing stores, you can find cosmetic and skincare stores on nearly every block. After shopping your hearts out, you can get more fuel at the many different street food places, where they offer sweet and savory foods. Despite the amount of people here, you can find calming and green spaces here as well.
Junggu

Junggu district is made up of unique architecture and mountainous green hills. The City Hall of Seoul is located here, along with one of the most famous attractions, the N Seoul Tower. Museums and historic sites come together to create an authentic vibe of the city. You can escape the crowds of the city to find amazing restaurants and some of the tallest viewpoints of the city, at Namsan Tower. Nearby is the National Theater of Korea, where dance shows are performed. This makes up an intensely authentic and historic district of Seoul.
There are many different aspects to Seoul, as these three very diverse neighborhoods show us. Anybody wanting to visit the city will have no trouble finding something for them.
